The Founding Member Program — 75 Spots and Why That Number

Seventy-Five Spots, and Not One More

The Founding Member Program at The Benjamin Guard is capped at 75 spots. That number is not a sales tactic. It is tied to physical construction. Right now, on the 158 acres in Cumby, Texas, we are building 30 to 40 named founding-member bays, with a target completion of late summer, September 2026. The cap exists because the cohort that gets a permanently named bay has to fit the bays we are pouring concrete for. When the steel is up and the names are set, the door closes. There is no version where we add spots later.

CLASSIFIED ADDENDUM — ACCESS RESTRICTED
CLEARANCE LEVEL DELTA-7 REQUIRED

Why structural scarcity matters

Most "limited" offers are limited only until demand justifies raising the number. This one cannot move. A founding bay is a built thing with a name on it. You either hold one of the 75 or you do not. After the cohort closes, the program becomes a closed chapter, and the next tier, Standard Membership, opens at a higher rate with none of the founding terms. That is the entire point of being early here: you are buying something that stops existing the moment we hit capacity.

What a Founding Member Gets

The Founding Membership runs $1,000 per year. For that rate, locked at the founding level, here is what comes with it:

  • A bay permanently named after you.
  • Unlimited range access.
  • Priority class registration 48 hours before the public.
  • 20% off all classes, for life.
  • One guest per visit.
  • Free Fitness and Firearms sessions.
  • Guard Games founding-participant status.
  • Invite-only quarterly events.
  • TBG gear shipped to you before your first visit.
  • A serialized member number and patch.

Read that list as two kinds of value. Some of it is operational: unlimited access to a live-fire facility, early seats in classes that fill, a standing discount on every course you take. The rest is identity. A serialized number. A patch. A bay with your name on the wall in a place built around Benjamin Milam, the Texas revolutionary who in December 1835 asked "Who will go with old Ben Milam into San Antonio?" There is a direct family line between Milam and the people who built this facility. Founding membership is how you put your name into that lineage.

What No Future Member Can Buy

This is the part worth being precise about. After the founding cohort closes, Standard Membership opens at $1,200 per year. A standard member gets a real membership and full access to the facility. What a standard member never gets is the founding terms. The named bay is gone, every name spoken for. The 48-hour registration head start is a founding benefit. The 20%-for-life class discount does not transfer to later tiers. Guard Games founding-participant status, by definition, can only belong to the people who were there at the start. The serialized founding number stops at 75.

So the gap between the two tiers is not $200 a year. The gap is everything the founding cohort is allowed to hold permanently, plus a lower rate that will never be offered again. You are not choosing between two prices. You are choosing between a closed, fixed set of 75 founding identities and an ordinary membership that opens after they are all claimed.

FIELD NOTE —
Field note: the bays go up once. The names go on once. There is no second pour.

The Math on Timing

The construction window is the clock. The bays target completion at end of summer, September 2026, and the cap is set by how many bays exist. Demand for a fixed-supply, name-on-the-wall membership tends to move in one direction as the build progresses. The seats most likely to remain are the ones claimed earliest, before the cohort is visibly close to full.

If you intend to train here regularly, the founding rate alone makes the case: $1,000 against the $1,200 standard rate, plus 20% off every class you ever take, plus unlimited range time. If you also want your name on a bay and a serialized place in the founding 75, timing is the only lever you control. The build will not wait, and the count only goes down.
